You know, there comes a time in every person's life when you just have to look around and ask "wtf? rly? o rly!"

If you told me in high school that by the time I turned 26 I would be a fetish photographer and work in pr0n I would have laughed. Actually I prolly would have told you to get bent and would have walked away with my nose in whatever book I happened to be reading that day. I really had that down too, that whole reading-while-walking thing. I blame marching band...it takes a lot of coordination to read music, play the music and walk in formation...

n e wayz. I do have a point. And the point is pointedly this:

Sunday I spent the day tying up a stripper. Look, don't judge. Shibari is a respected form of Martial Arts and with that same sense of respect I artfully tied up a stripper and took photos. I realized that I was grateful that she happened to have a ballgag in her mouth. I find I have absolutely nothing in common with strippers, unless they happen to be a rare breed of geek-stripper, which I've never met in person but have heard tell of.

I guess it doesn't really matter what you do with your life or with yourself...somethings don't change too much. I still feel out of place with the beautiful people, and I still get socially-awkward. And after a long hard day of groping a stripper it's always nice to come home, read some SNTG, listen to mash-ups, and watch Geek Ray Vision on spiketv.com.

Josh's best friend Zach, you know the guy who married us, well see he's this cool kid.

He has a site called Hipster Please and it's chock full of Nerd Core musical goodness. We lurve him.

Well see, he has this baby, right...the cutest thing ever, really...and there is this video of the baby dancing to Optimus Rhyme. The cuteness is debilitating, I swear!

So I have been commissioned to do a test shot for a new series. Top secret, don't ask (read: the assignment is geeky in nature and thus I am too excited to mention it too early lest I get my hopes up)
So NEway...

so I have 3 (count them, three) phrases and I must do a photographic depiction of each. Well I'm a Gemini, so I tend to see things in different ways. Thus I decided to do 2 (count them, two) depictions per phrase: one mundane/innocent and one sinister/adult.

...for those of you following me on this GMAT study course, that is a total of 6 (yep, six) images total...

A friend of mine alerted me to the fact there exists on this planet a maze.
This is a real maze that real people walk through. Ok, awesome...sold. I love that crap.

But wait it gets better...this particular maze is a Star Trek theme...more specifically the Enterprise attacking the Borg Cube ship...yeah this is good stuff.

However, I gotta be a dork for a moment...The guy who created this did so to celebrate 40 years since the first Star Trek. Now we all know that the first Star Trek was captained by James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and the Next Generation was captained by Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart). Everyone also knows that the Borg weren't even introduced until the "Q Who" episode in Next Gen. Next Gen happens to be my favorite of the Treks...and thus I find it amusing that the maze depicts the Borg Cube and a silhouette of Picard.

So, yeah if anyone has a few grand to send me to England so I can witness this first hand, I'd really dig that!

I refuse to give a commentary about the world today and an economy that allows and supports the production, distribution and purchase of Nihilist gum as the vast amount of nothingness kinda gets in the way of words, which would consist of no real truth anyway, so there's really no point. This am, I decided to do a little Ashtanga yoga pre-work...The instructor (read = incredible homo = Incredimo) was trying to assure me that it's not what I do, but it's how I do what I do that counts...he also reminded me to be where I am because I am already there.

Awesome, I had forgotten that.

So anyway...back to the gamething...

SteveJan and I get to workout and make wagers ...
at the end of the week, whoever has the most points (target of exercising three times a week for 5 points, with a max of 9 points a week) gets to serve the l00zer with a wager...
and at the end of 8 weeks, the person with the highest points gets to pwn to other team and sch00l them like the n00bs they are. Today is the official start date...
let the games begin.

Transformers vs GoBots

I saw Clerks 2 this past weekend. Ok so ohemgee it's good stuff. Kev has to throw in a bit of the ol deeper meaning in all he does, and this movie was no different.

For those of you l00zers who haven't seen the first one (and sadly that seems to be a lot of you) please do yourself a favor and try to find it, watch it, and welcome yourself into the world.

I pretty much knew this movie was going to be funny...how can it not be? I really wasn't expecting to giggle until I snorted (much to the glee of the movie-goers around me...

As per usual, there were the subtle and not-so-subtle nods to popculture as well as to other Kevin Smith movies. A few of these include a couple nods to The Silence of the Lambs as Jay does a little dance a la nipples-and-chapstick, a nod to Dogma with a "got christ" Buddy Jesus shirt that the newly Christianized Jay sports, and of course the b/w intro along the lines of the first movie...just to name a few.

Oh yeah, and Rosario Dawson is hot...just sayin is all.

This movie is all about relationships...between heterolifemates, between lovers who should be, between relationships that shouldn't be, and of course the deeper bond between man and donkey. That is all...
